My Photo

In high school I found art and I found Photoshop. I worked hard to move to San Francisco to study New Media and to help me find my voice and express it. I found that there’s much more to life than pretty pictures and began honing my skills in graphic communication, motion graphics and programming. Versatility is key.

Through other jobs and self study I became proficient at these skills and can now adapt to practically any project. My specialty is programming for the web. I love working in a team, I love a challenge, and I love achieving the unexpected.

Now working at SAY Media

I am now happily employed at SAY Media, Inc. as a Sr. Software Engineer maintaining Dogster and working on our upcoming publishing platform.

Now working at Dogster.com

I am now happily employed at Dogster as a Software Engineer. I'm working with some really great people over here and the community at the site is unmatched.

I now have the opportunity to work on a large website with a large amount of visitors and there is a lot of freedom for me to have a big impact within the company. Working along side the marketing director, community manager, sales, and other engineers has been really broadening my experience. I love getting my hands into everything and I'm learning quite a bit.

Go Dogster! Ruff! ;>

New Portfolio Website

Welcome to my new home! It's been a while but I've finally upgraded my website to better reflect my skillset. I've learned a lot in the past 2 years and I'm anxious to continue applying that to new projects. A lot has happened in the industry (AJAX, web apps, Ruby on Rails) as well and I'm eager to explore new methods of helping people really get around on the web and do what they want.

I'm surprised at how far I've come in such little time and I'm ready to learn more. Every year is better than the last, it's amazing!
